What Yore does
You give us a name, a rough birth decade, and anything else you happen to know. We go looking in the public record — censuses, parish registers, court files, ship manifests, newspapers — and tell you what we find as a short sequence of cards.
What we won't do
We don’t invent scenes, dialogue, or feelings for people who can’t correct us. Where the record is thin, the story says so. Where something is inference rather than documentation, the card marks it as inference.
Sources, always
Every story closes with the records it leaned on, so you can keep pulling the thread yourself. If a source is uncertain or contested, we name that too.
